My two sons were locked out of their car over an hour away from home. I called several locksmiths before finding Steve. He was the only one I called where I did not have to go through a dispatch service to get to the technician. This cut down on the time it took to get to the car. Steve was very easy to work with, fast, and very kind!

Our front door lock failed on a Saturday afternoon. Stephen from Orion's Key was at our door by 5:00pm, half an hour after I called. He accurately quoted the job over the phone before coming, took care of it quickly and then made some change to our doorjamb, ensuring the problem would be unlikely to happen again. He was professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and informative. Would definitely hire him again, if the need arises.

We came home from a trip after midnight in the rain and found that the key we took wouldn’t get us into the house. We stayed elsewhere. In the morning I sent a text request for cost and I called Orion and Steve met us at the house. Steve got us in. He identified which keys worked, made extra, as well as identified possible problems with the garage door opener.

Let me start by saying Steve is an awesome human being. What a smart man. Steve explained the entire process to me was on time everything he said happened. My mother broke the key into the ignition on her way home from work. Steve quoted me over the phone and came out 10mins earlier than he said he would be there by. Completed the key extraction and replaced/programmed two new keys. Very thankful for this man and his professionalism. Would highly recommend to any of my family or friends. I called and spoke to Stephen yesterday morning to have the locks in our new home rekeyed. First, he said his company serviced Washougal, which was great. Second, he said he could come that day and we made an appointment for 3 PM and he was there right on time. Third, Stephen was very informative, not just about the 4 deadbolts and 4 door knobs I wanted to get rekeyed, but security in general. He looked at my garage doors and told me how I could improve security and removed a screw that was preventing a latch from locking on one of the garage doors. Our locks were older since the house was built in 1987. Stephen gave us pros/cons of what we had in terms of how effective my locks would be against a burglar. Not only did he rekey the locks, which is what I wanted, he also adjusted the locks that were installed upside down and performed maintenance on the parts that weren't moving smoothly. This was totally unexpected and above and beyond this customer's expectations. The cost was reasonable with a $65 service charge, outside of Vancouver mileage charge, and $20 per lock. I would use Orion Key again in a heartbeat!
